Based on a popular Australian reflector, this reflector offers the same versatility and light distribution at a realistic price. The unique shape of the reflector allows the user to change the focus of the light that is emitted down into the growing area - the outer edges of the reflector have three settings that move the wings up and down, adding or decreasing the focus of light as per your requirements. This flexibility along with the open ended design allow the reflector to be placed slightly closer to the plants than closed reflectors such as the Diamond without scorching or heat stress, this results in increased penetration and potentially increased yields. Supplied as standard with the ever reliable Maxibright Compact ballast and lamp of your choice - please make you selection below.

Frequently asked questions |
| Q: Is this reflector available as a seperate item? |
| Yes, by clicking here. |
|
| Q: I have read the Compact gets very hot when it's on, is it safe and why does this happen? |
| The Compact ballast from Maxigrow is by far the most reliable ballast on the market. In the 3 years we've been selling them we've only had a handful of returns. You may have noticed that we only sell two brands of lighting, Powerplant and Maxigrow, the reason we do this is that in our opinion these are currently the most reliable brands on the market. With regards to the heat question, the answer is that they designed to run hot, and are entirely safe. The internal workings of the ballast are potted in resin to eliminate operating noise (these ballasts are 100% silent in operation), the outer black casing material is widely used in the petroleum industry as a heat dissipation material; it pulls the heat away from the inner workings of the ballast and results in a long life ballast that will give you years of trouble free use. |

| Q: What does the "combo" mean in the product options, does it mean you get both the lamps listed? |
| Yes, it does, whenever you see the word combo it means that the system comes with the two lamps listed. Some customers prefer to use a halide lamp for vegative (leaf growth), and a sodium or Grolux lamp for flowering. The Grolux Dual Spectrum lamp is not available in a 250W version (it's only available in 400W and 600W versions), if you wish to use one lamp for vegative and flowering growth then the Osram Son-T-Plus lamp will do a reasonably good job for both these stages of plant growth. By offering the combo deals we make it cheaper for customers looking to purchase both lamps at the point of sale, rather than having to buy an extra lamp at the full retail price. |
