Supernova Reflectors

Almost a household name, the Supernova has been around for years and continues to be amongst the top 5 selling reflectors in the European marketplace today. Nearly every grow lighting manufacturer produces a light based on the general shape and design of the Supernova, this goes to show how durable and effective the design of this reflector is.

Whilst it lacks the even spread of light and heat achieved by the advanced design of the Diamond reflector, when used correctly it is still one of the best reflectors for putting large amounts of light onto plants positioned directly beneath. The downside is that it can also put down quite a lot of heat into the same area; however, with the right environmental controls and correct spacing between reflectors this grow light still outperforms almost all other reflectors in its class.

The large Supernova is also one of the only reflectors on the market that can take a 250W CFL lamp and due to its closed end design it puts down more light than any other standard reflector when used for this purpose.  This reflector measures 60cm(l) X 44cm(w) X 18cm(h). The mini Supernova measures 49cm(l) x 44cm (w) x 19cm (h).
