New to the RUCK range, this innovative fan from the German ventilation company fills a long term hole in the indoor growing market. It works by measuring the temperature of the air as it passes through the fan, rather than the ambient temperature of the air in the growing area (with an external probe like the Primair). This means it can be used outside of the growing area if required; you will need to play around a bit to find the right temperature setting on the fan on the initial setup, but once this has been established then the temperature of the growing area is maintained at a near constant level day and night. As the fan is designed to be used as a variable speed fan, RUCK have increased the number of windings in the fan to three plus one (technical speak) and the result is no hum when the fan is running at slower speeds. There is also a short time delay built in to allow for quick changes in temperature caused by opening of doors etc. Supplied with a 1 metre cable to stripped end, you will need to wire a plug on (not supplied). Expensive, but in our opinion definitely worth it.
