About Dripper Systems

How a dripper system works

A pump in the tank pushes nutrient solution through supply pipe to a dripper or ring at each pot, on a timer, several times a day. Run-off drains back to the tank or to waste. It works in coco, rockwool and pebbles, scales from a few pots to a room, and gives every plant the same dose at the same time.

Which system?

The IWS Dripper System Pro puts each pot on a stand over a return tray, with the whole system draining back. The Origin systems are a tray, pots and a pump-fed dripper ring for each plant, sized to fit 60cm, 75cm, 90cm and 115cm tents; the Origin 8 XL runs eight 11 litre pots. The Imperium timer gives the short, repeated cycles drip feeding needs; a standard timer can't do seconds. Our hydroponics guide compares dripper systems with the alternatives.
