About Systems & Irrigation
Which system?
Autopot feeds each pot from a tank by gravity through a valve, with no pump, timer or electricity: the simplest way to automate watering in soil or coco, and it copes with a week away. NFT runs a thin film of nutrient along a tray past bare roots for very fast growth in a small footprint. Flood and drain floods pots of clay pebbles from a central tank several times a day and drains back. Dripper systems put a timed dose onto each pot, in coco or rockwool, and scale from four pots to a room.
Building it out
Every system needs a tank, a way to move water and a way to measure it. Pumps and air stones, pipe and fittings, water filters, tanks and buckets and the pH and EC meters under Nutrient Management are all here. If you would like a system sized to your tent, phone the shop with the tent size and the number of plants. New to it? Start with our hydroponics guide: what it is, the systems compared and what you need.
