Parabolic Digital Grow Light

Cool running with a great light spread, the Parabolic Digital Grow Light is an effective way to cover larger areas or keep temperatures down in a grow tent.

The Parabolic reflector has a vertical mounting position for the lamp instead of the traditional horizontal design. This allows light to radiate evenly and creates a great spread for larger growing areas as well as directing heat out to the side.

This means that the plants suffer less from heat stress and if you are growing in soil it will stay fresher for longer and reduce the chance of a nutrient imbalance later in the growing cycle.

To reduce any heat issues further we’ve complimented the Parabolic with a Maxibright digital ballast that will run cooler than the standard compact model, making this kit a great choice for using in grow tents.

The digital ballast will also stop the sudden spike of amps that occurs when a compact ballast is turned on, although there is no great energy saving with the digitals, they are marginally more efficient and the soft start technology should reduce wear and tear on your lamp.

Available in two sizes, the medium Parabolic measures 80cm in diameter and can be used with 250W, 400W or 600W lamps although for 600W we would recommend the large Parabolic measuring 100cm in diameter. A light controller is advisable for all sizes of ballast.
