We’ve put this established reflector together with the Maxibright digital ballast to bring it up to date with the benefits of soft-start technology and cooler running temperatures to make one of the best grow lights on the market.

Digital ballasts eliminate the spike of current that happens when using compact ballasts that puts less strain on the rest of the system – not that the Supernova has any problems in this department but bulbs will be bulbs.

Although there are no significant reductions in electricity usage with digital ballasts, they are slightly more efficient and will make a definite improvement in equipment quality for many growers as well as reducing excess heat in your growing environment.

Available in 250W, 400W and 600W, we recommend using a light controller with any HID lighting. This kit comes with a two year no-quibble guarantee on the ballast and a one year guarantee on the reflector and lamp.
