Diamond Reflectors

Fine-tuned in one of the UK’s leading photometric laboratories, the Diamond reflector puts one of the highest amounts of light of any horizontally mounted reflector.

The Diamond reflector’s unusual shape was developed to compensate for the innate imbalance in light distribution from an HID lamp. It allows the maximum amount of available light to spread evenly and with fewer hot spots to assist even growth.

We have found the increase in yield to generally be between 10-30% when compared to Dutch barn style reflectors, not quite the 20-50% estimated by the manufacturers but definitely noticeable in a side-by-side trial.

The Diamond reflector comes in two sizes – a smaller model for 250W and 400W HID lamps that measures 49cm long x 55cm wide x 12cm deep. The larger model is suitable for 600W and 1000W HID lamps and measures 59cm long x 66cm wide x 17cm deep.
