Budget Carbon Filters

Our budget carbon filters are an effective method of organic odour control but with a shorter lifespan than the Rhino Pro Filter option.

The Prima Klima filters are made in Germany to a very high standard and are especially suited to smaller grow rooms and for anyone on a budget.

All carbon filters work in the same way as carbon is a super absorbent material that has a massive surface area on a molecular level, trapping odours as the air flows over it.

However we would advise that you need to change the filter after nine to twelve months as opposed to the two years offered by Rhino.

In use, we recommend positioning your carbon filter at the highest available point in your grow room and as far away from any air intakes as possible as this will allow the maximum heat extraction and increase airflow.

It is important to match the carbon filter to the right fan based on airflow otherwise the odour reduction will not be as effective and lifespan of both components can be dramatically reduced.
