For many people using grow lights one of the main problems is regulating temperature and improving airflow, which is why we offer a comprehensive range of models of in line fan to accommodate all sizes of grow room from propagation tents to larger scale hobbyists. We supply budget fans for customers looking to keep costs down as well as the highly reputable German-made RUCK fans which are also available as a thermostatically controlled model. The RKW fan range features an internal sensor that monitors the temperature of the air flowing through it and then adjusts its speed through several gears while never falling below an ‘idle’ speed so there is always air flowing. Other options include the Air Force 2 acoustic fans in a variety of sizes from the whisper quiet six inch model to the gargantuan 12 inch fan that pulls 3300m³.

Ventilation Connections

When using an extraction fan in your home it is often advisable to attach a carbon filter to help reduce the smell of vegetation in your living space. These filters are filled with activated charcoal which has a massive surface area on a molecular level and makes it highly absorbent and very effective at removing unwanted odours from the air. Available as either the budget models, which are every bit as good but with a shorter lifespan than the Rhino Pro filters (formerly Phat Filter before a name change) which have a guarantee of two years. We also supply both standard and acoustic duct for connecting them, as well as a good choice of connections and fittings including ducting reducers, jubilee clips and more for building a reliable system to give your plants the airflow they need. To help manage this and keep your grow room at the correct temperature we also stock fan speed controllers with a choice of models that are either manually adjustable or ones that can be pre-set and adjust themselves automatically to maintain a temperature such as the Primair or Evolution. You can also find a variety of plastic sheeting including heavy duty floor secure, lightproof Total Blackout, black and white sheeting in both 2m and 8m widths and the embossed Mylar diamond grow for enhanced light reflection.
