Houseplants

This section contains all of the products required to grow healthy, vibrant houseplants without the use of traditional soil. Using hydroculture techniques and equipment is easier than a lot of people think when it comes to growing indoor plants, and with the correct nutrients the results can be impressive growth and years of hassle-free enjoyment from almost any plants available from your local garden centre. There are now a few different ways of growing hydroponically with some of the most popular involving the use of clay pebbles such as the Dutch horticultural society certified Gold Label hydroleca or the Seramis substrate which is made from pure clay mined in Germany. 

Plant Care

Also available are several useful items for monitoring the requirements of your plants such as the Seramis watering indicators and the culture pots that include a recess to allow a water level monitor to fit alongside the pot. Specific nutrients formulated for house plant nutrition are also in this section, including the Houseplant Focus from GT and the Blusana range such as the special liquid fertiliser, which is also suitable for plants growing in soil, and the Lewatit HD 50fertiliser for hydroculture which will feed most plants for a period of two to three months.
