Plant Care

Our Plant Care section contains plenty of useful gardening accessories to help your plants through all stages of their growth and development, from all purpose gloves in latex and vinyl through to sturdy netting to give flowering plants support. We also offer a very strong conical plant support cage in metal that can be positioned to allow a plant to grow up through it and provide support for heavy fruit that might otherwise damage the plant with its own weight. Another option is the use of YoYos – individual plant supports that clip directly onto the heavier branches and reduce the chance of them splitting towards the end of the fruiting cycle, particularly with tomato plant care. 

Pruning

Trimming and cutting equipment is important for maintain healthy foliage as well as harvesting crops without damaging plants, so we have sourced the finest Japanese steel scissors and can now offer either the traditional grape scissors or the spring loaded Chikimasa option, either of which are ideally suited to cutting through unwanted vegetation or pruning vines with minimum effort. We also have a choice of drying racks and drying nets that can either be hung from the ceiling or stacked on the floor to give multiple levels with which to dry herbs and chillies.
