Clonex Rooting Hormone is designed to promote root growth in softwood and semi-hardwood cuttings.

Supplied in a gel form  to ensure that the hormone remains in contact with the cut cells when placed in the propagation medium, the gel also serves to seal the cut cells more effectively than other forms of rooting hormone (powders or liquids) - reducing the risk of infection.  Clonex contains 4-indol-3-ylbutyric acid to promote cell-division/root formation, vitamins to protect the new root tissue and essential mineral nutrients.

Immediately after striking, each cutting should be dipped into clonex 10-20mm up from the base; the cutting should then be placed in the propagation medium and transferred to a suitable propagation chamber.
