Rockwool Propagation Kit

• Clonex rooting hormone (for encouraging initial root emergence);
• Tray of 24 Rockwool ‘1" Propagation cubes';
• Sterile scalpel (to prevent infection through exposed tissue of cuttings);
• Formulex (for initial cube-soak, and for feeding the young plants);
• Waterproof labels & pencil (for easy identification of your various young plants).

Cubes must be presoaked in tepid water (5ml/L of Formulex is beneficial) and allowed to drain thoroughly. Whilst the instructions state that this solution must be at pH 5.0-5.5, in our experience no pH buffering is necessary at this stage. Buffering is however an essential step in the preparation of transplanting cubes, if used.
