BudLink

Hy-Gen BudLink is a silicon additive that was born in response to the dry, hot Australian summer climate, that is also effective as a foliar spray.

A true plant health product in terms of how it works, silicon additives are widely used in the Australian commercial hydroponic industry for their plant health benefits offering amongst other things a good degree of heat stress protection, obviously, this is particularly useful in the hot OZ summers.

Its active ingredients are embedded into the cell walls, producing plants with thicker stems and branches, and stronger, greener foliage. Also said to produce a more vigorous plant in terms of growth rates and yields, this product sells well although some have questioned the price of it compared to other silicon-based products currently on the market.

How to use Budlink:

• Apply at a dilution rate equal to the dilution rate of your base growth or bloom nutrient - if the dilution rate of your grow/bloom feed is 2ml/litre then copy that for Budlink - 2ml/litre. And so on. Allowing one week for flushing.
• As with most silicon additives, it should only be applied to pH 7 water, and thoroughly mixed before all other nutrients/additives to ensure its effectiveness.

Best Practices:

• Shake well before use.
• Use clean measuring instruments - do not put anything into the bottle.
• Monitor EC regularly and adjust accordingly based on crop type and growth stage.
• Store closed in its original packaging at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.

We think Hy-Gen Budlink is as effective as any other silicon additive - if you grow in a hydroponic system during the summer months you will see a real difference when using Budlink. Good product.
