As a very general rule of thumb, we recommend using it at 25% throughout the growth/vegetative stage right up until the start of the blooming phase, whereby we then suggest to raise it to 50%. From there it's your call! There's more than enough light spectrum at 25% for the growth stage of the lifecycle of most plants' for fast, strong growth, and using it at 100% isn't really needed until somewhere around the mid-flower stage (often around week 3-4 of a plant's bloom cycle). All this will, in turn, significantly reduce energy costs and optimise the efficiency of your grow. As always, look and listen to your plants - it's super bright even at 25% and when you first introduce the light to your plants, or new plants to the light, take precaution by having adequate distance between the light and plant canopy, somewhere around a metre at 25% power output should be fine, slowly lowering the light every day or two, until plants are a minimum 40-50cm away. But, again, this is just a very general guideline - different plant species will react differently, and even different varieties within species. LOOK AND LISTEN TO YOUR PLANTS!
